I am way against abortion. Hi, I am now nearly in my 10th weeks of pregnancy and I felt no good for any foods or juices. I am neaseous all the time and mostly forgo eating dinner after a hard day at work! I throw up almost everyday after travelling in a bus for an hour or so each day! Everyone told me that after I complete my 3rd month, I will be much better-off…so, here I am keeping my fingers crossed! I just had my daughter 3mths ago and i am breastfeeding. In the beginning, I was pumping and giving her an ounce of formula here and there due to doctors at the hospital they said it would help get rid of her jaundice. Another doctor told me she just needed breast so i stopped the formula. Now there is no more pumping strictly breast and I have noticed my breast dont fill up as much and i have seen some blood one day two weeks apart not alot but enough to make me worry am I pregnant again?

Mely, if if its three months; then she should begin by taking a pregnancy test. You should also make an appointment with your doctor. If you don’t have a doctor then you must make an appointment with Planned Parenthood or another nearby clinic.

Skipping periods does not necessarily mean you are pregnant. Some women have erratic (irregular) periods for other reasons, such as weight issues (severe under or overweight), athleticism (extreme athletes) or hormone imbalances (fluctuating estrogen levels).

Again, you should make an appointment for a check-up and go over your symptoms with your physician.

Symptoms of pregnancy differ from woman to woman (and pregnancy to pregnancy). Some women will never feel sick, while some will experience nausea all the way through to their due dates – you cannot go by that at all.

Buy an at-home test kit. If you can find one with a ‘buy one, get one free’ (two-fer) then do it; that way you will have an extra to try if the results of the first round are inconclusive. If you do an at-home test and it comes up negative (not pregnant) but still has not had her period, go to the doctor. It is possible (unlikely) that the test read as a false negative, but the doctor can find out for sure.

Haydie, i would recommend you to check if your pregnant using the testing options at home, because if you are pregnant you can quickly overcome it. Also sometimes you dont get periods on time because of the reasons listed above, so dont worry about it much. This is a problem with many girls and the more you think about it the more tension you get. Just try to stay calm and focus on other things.

ive been having cramps since ovulation period.i aam six months pregnant but still have the heavy cramps every single day.it is worse at night.it wakes me up 2-3 times at night accompanied by stomach pain.i never had such cramps wen i was on my period.i then bled after an intercourse with my husband.it wasnt much but it was definitely not spotting.the doctor admitted me in the hospital for bed rest.the condition is called threatened miscarriage.iv had a strong pain killer injection for the cramps,theve subsided but i still have them especiaally the stomach pain and am still on bed rest.the bleeding stopped since that 1st time.when we got married i was too tight so i used to bleed after intercourse but had stopped that a long tiime ago.learnt cramps are very bad signs.iv had a scan the baby is fine but they keep saying they will try and keep the baby and that doesnt sound good

It is quite an important and interesting information about early pregnancy. I am 8.4 weeks pregnant.Day before Yesterday I started having light brown discharge. It caused me huge amount of worry. I got an ultrasound done and evreything seems to be normal in ultrasound report. the heart beat of fetus is around 158 bph.
I had a miscarriage last year in the month of march. I am really worried if this pregnency is going to work out.

This article needs some serious editing. The first paragraph says it all.

“Pregnancy is said to occur due to the fertilization of the egg by a sperm which grows in size a woman’s uterus which is called the womb.”

This gives the impression that the SPERM grows after fertilizing the egg, as opposed to the actual fertilized egg. Furthermore, the second half of that sentence makes absolutely no sense. Did the author mean to say it grows in size within a woman’s uterus? Or perhaps he/she just meant to say it grows inside the uterus? This next sentence is the one that really made me laugh.

“It takes 270 days for the womb to develop into a baby but the gynecologist will consider the date from the last menstrual period or 300 days (40 weeks).”

WHAT?! The womb is not the baby!!!! Nor does it develop into one! Even my 12 year old sister knows this! Please consider editing (or at least proofreading) your next article before posting it. Mistakes like those shown above tend to confuse or mislead those who are only seeking truth at such a tenuous time in their lives. Please use discretion while posting articles on their behalf.
